Can you go Pastels in fall? I mean nails of course!
A woman stopped me the other day while I was at work. I was signing her in as a new patient. She basically threw of my track of mind(don't you hate that) to ask me about MY NAILS. She tells me it's fall. I'm like YEAH AND. She proceeds to tell me she's never seen yellow nails. She's seen blue, pink, orange but never yellow. Hmm, that's funny. Can we get back to you signing these NO FAULT papers though? Okay cool.
I never thought it was inappropriate to rock colored nails during dull seasons. I mean yeah, the weather is gloomy outside and we usually wear dark colors to go along with the dark seasons but I always thought nails were the exceptions. All the fashion "experts" are advocating olives and maroons, OPI is putting out colors that would automatically make you think gothic. I think as women we should keep some sort of fun and playful elements in our lives since everything else is so serious.
When I spoke to this woman around last Wednesday, I was rocking yellow. Now I'm rocking a splash of grenadine by Essie which is pretty much a bright pink. I think I'll keep playing around with the bright colors until it snows. Hello World! Who's with me!?
