"the higher the boot, the short the skirt" is a statement that all women should live by coined by fashion experts at Bazaar. Last year it was all about the over the knee, thigh high boot. This year? It's a lot more modest. A lot of 50's sweethearts, mod looks have been brought back a live and I'm afraid my dears, the extreme thigh high boot has died 
Lucky for us, we don't usually follow the trends just modernize the old. So those extreme thigh high boots you can wear, just not with pum pum shorts. Steal some celebrity style!
