Yeah, people are congratulating him for doing his job and ya'll know how I feel about that. Anyway he signed the healthcare reform bill HR something and it's supposed to change your lives.
The good about this bill is that people like SOSHA who go to school for shit called acturial science, might get paid a little more. There will plenty of jobs for low funded IME doctors and risk management majors. But everything else is pretty much shiity.
The specs

The bill did not state if there will be an alternative for Medicaid. The bill does speak of expanding "medicaid" for all individuals over 65 who are below the poverty line.
// The insurance companies can not refuse coverage to anyone but the bill does not put a cap on the price with people with pre-existing medical conditions. SO they can't refuse to give it to you but they can charge you an exorbitant amount of cash.

OBAMA also signed a clause under the new reform that mandates NO abortions be covered under federal dollar. So even if you pay for your insurance, you still don't have coverage. HMM. I wonder what party forced him to do that. To me if the government is taking taxes and pumping it into healthcare, essentially they pay for your insurance. So they're telling you what you can and can not do. I don't like that shit. Let me know ya'll bamaloving thoughts.

I worked in the hospital industry for 15 years and its a big gimmick. They rob you for fastfood service. Pharamacutical companies pimp the doctors and in most cases you are forced to take meds that everyone knows has horrible side effects. It's a sad situation. I'm leaving the US. That will solve it for me. Every other day it's something.

OH yes, for SURE. I worked with nothing but doctors. You don't need an MRI but this doctor is on the paylist of xyz imaging on peach st so he must get at least 15 patients a month to get his cut.
The people from the pharmaceuticals come in and try to bribe the receptionists to get the doctor to prescribe pills that patients really don't need.
It's not that I hate Obama but they are failing to address the issue. It's not the idea of healthcare that's bad, it's the business that it has become. Profit oriented!
These "doctors" have forgotten that we are people to. I think this bill is only going to make it worse. Now instead of referring you to one specialist you're going to see about 3 for tht reoccurring headache you've been having it's crazy!
