Peter Thomas Roth Botanical Buffing Beads Review!
I’m not usually into the whole reviewing products thing because that’s just not my forte but this is something I had to share!
Forget the Aveeno face masks, and every other $8 Rite Aid, Duane Reade or other favorite pharmaceutical face mask. This Peter Thomas Roth one is the truth. If you have sensitive or acne prone skin, if you find yourself using the most organic soap to avoid irritation then this is an investment you need to make. I stumbled upon this Peter Thomas Roth product browsing Sephora about 2 years ago. I made a trip to my local Sephora (definitely not local I took a trip to forty deuce) to see what it was about. I was definitely skeptical because it costs $36 and let’s be for real $36 at Forever21 can go far but I had a $10 gift card so it lessened the blow.
Having experienced the acne bug when I was younger (using the topical gels, clean and clear; still not under control creams, anti-chlydasdsds aka shit I could never pronounce) I understand the frustration of having that one pimple mess up an otherwise perfect picture.
Use as directed is not a mantra I live by. Clearly. So instead of putting it on after washing my face, I put it on dry accompanied with water. (I like to live on the edge) You can feel the micro and jojoba beads putting in work. And because I don’t wet it, I enjoy a longer scrubbing sensation(FREAKY).
Scrubs usually serve the purpose of making whatever treatment you’re using work better, but this is a treatment in itself! Because of it’s potency and effectiveness, this facial scrub needs to be used maybe twice a week, once a day if you’re feeling froggy.
So do I absolutely recommend this product? If it’s not
already clear, I damnsolutely recommend this! If you won't take my word on it read the reviews!
