Well, here is one for the masses...
The New York times decided to welcome Barack Obama for his first Christmas in presidency by making a Christmas gift guide exclusively for blacks/ people of color.
I personally do not think the idea in itself is racist. Hell I'll take all the recognition I can get.. but what I will not take is JUDGMENT. The shit behind it, e.g. underlying undertones in regard to African American hair ""Hair Rules," a product for people of color with "problem hair."", skin color "- "The Mocha Guide to Military Life," a book for African American women with family members serving in the military. (pictured below)"
problem hair? what the hell you trying to say? MOCHA manual?? lol I thought segregation was over, why the "black" shit gotta be in the back on the newspaper? huh? racist bastards! (lol plug.)
Yes, these things do exist, but for a publication to try and tell me an appropriate Christmas gift is a guide about my "problem hair" now that is a problem. A BIG ONE. I got the quotes from yahoo news.. you can click on the link for the article.
