Firstly, Let me publicly announce that I LOVE Chanel because of Karl Lagerfeld.
He managed to sustain the whole elegance vibe that is Chanel while giving it a more hip updated twist.
When I heard he was leaving Chanel I was devastated because it will not be the same after, So girls I advise you to get your Classic Chanel shit now!! Because the head of Lanvin has been making some shit lately.
Some Classic brands need older people to keep them stable and leveled. Prime example what happened when Marc Jacobs(who is my husband by the way) becomes head designer for Louis Vuitton Fashion house?? Shit like you see on the Louis Vuitton shelves, certain rappers making limited edition sneakers totally bringing the value of the brand down. Not to say rap in general or hip hop music would bring a brand down by itself but the person who he collaboed with is a very opinionated and controversial individual not to mention he's not a fashion icon despite what majority of the hip hop community thinks.. Do you really want that for your brand?? And in any case I do not want this to happen to Chanel..
