Is it a right of free speech when you type in lgbt at a public school
computer and get denied? Somebody thinks so.. 17 year old Andrew Emitt
from Knoxville, Tennessee claims he typed in nothing sexual explicit
surround the acronym lgbt which stands for lesbian gay bisexual and
transgender when he as looking for scholarships but was outraged that it
was on the deny list. He brought it to the attention of the
ACLU(american civil liberties union) and they seem to agree with him..
They are demanded that the sites be unblocked.

I personally totally disagree with the sentiment of invasion of free
speech. I feel like we are breaking down boundaries where anything is
alotted. Someone is going to feel that dick could be searched because it
is another name for genitalia. Myspace and Sconex were banned in
schools, is there going to be a student against the limiting of free
speech on those networking sites?

There are always ways to circumvent the system Andrew said on his cnn
interview the anti-gay sites weren't banned. Try not typing in lgbt and
instead typing gay scholarships.. I'm pretty sure it will work.
